Hey guys, Just thought id let you know, yesterday my beloved shed and the whole contents caught fire and burned to the ground. Im currently working away so was pretty distraught when i was told the news! Included in the blaze was a full gym, rumpus room, supercross bike, scooter mowers tools and sitting in the middle of it all my 1973 Datsun 240z. It was my pride and joy. Ive just spent alot of money on the car and im still in shock to be honest. I had big plans. It will be sadly missed, once ive delt with insurance ill be keeping my eye out for another one. Cheers lurch, how do they work?

hey guys the 240z i bought has possibly had a hit at some point and the rear right hand side wheel has 5mm toe in. The result is making the car crab to the left! :-\ I have had the car wheel alignment done and all the other wheels are straight. Ive had it on a hoist at Adelaide z cars, and it all seems to be straight underneath and the body is all straight, the wheel doesn't buckle or wobble either so the hub isn't bent at all! I was speaking to a friend who races a 240z and he said he had the same problem and had to re slot the bolt hols on the torsion bar that runs behind the diff to square it up. Has anyone had this problem, or any idea how to fix it. Kind regards James

Hi all just wanted to introduce myself. I joined up about a month ago but hadn't got around to doing this. Im James Parkinson, Im 23 and I live in Mclaren Vale South Australia. Im a datsun enthusiast. I have just bought myself another 240z. I had one a couple of years ago and had to sell due to tight money! And every since i couldn't get the 240 out of my mind, Ive had a thing for them since i was 14 15. I also have a 1600. will be great to have some help and advise for the future. cheers.
