the main area I see at this point in time is in the roof just on top of the quarter windows. I'm sure there are going to be many more I find along the way. I've also got rust in the boot where the spare wheel goes which I have no idea how I am going to tackle yet.

When cutting out rust what tools are people using? Obviously there is the angle grinder, but what about for those small cuts? Thanks.

does turbo dizzy = turbo ecu or can you use the turbo dizzy with the standard ecu?

with engine managementyou wouldn't need to do this though would you?

Yes that was what I was planning on doing. I should probable re-phrase it a bit although I think you already answered my question. Once I have sanded the panel and fixed rust, should I prime it? Is there anything else as well as priming I should do? This is my first time doing this sort of thing.

Hi Guys, I am going to begin sanding back the car slow;y in preperation of a re-spray. I will be doing it slowly by hand over the next couple of months (it's more a hobby and I don't have crazy amounts of time to do it all at once). So I thought I'd do a panel at a time either by hand or with an electric sander. My question is this.. Once I have stripped the panel, what should I then do so they don't rust over time until the whole car is ready to be painted? I will be fixing rust as I go also. Thanks

I am doing a turbo upgrade to my L28. I was just wondering what fuel pump I should use.

Should be ok with low psi. If you are going to boost it crazily then you should be thinking about internals.

Hi Guys, I am pulling out the auto in the next couple of weeks to start my manual conversion. Just after some expressions of interest in the auto transmission. The owner of my zed was the oiginal owner and the car had done 144000kms. It was in perfect working condition before head gasket going. Transmission oil is spotless. Not sure what they are worth but throw me some offers. I should also mention it's out of a 280zx. Cheers

Have you got any pictures of the two front bumpers for the 280zx on cars? Also do you have any rear bumpers?

Hi Guys, For restoration purposes I am trying to determine whether the engine in my car is the original or not. Where was the engine number stamped onto a plate. This is a 280zx. I have the vin plate and then another one on the other side. The one on the other side has detereated over the years and does really have anything left on it. Was this the plate? and if this is the case there is no real point on keeping the original engine seeing as you can't read the engine number.

is it easy to find people to tune it? I come from the skyline scene where a apexi power fc was the norm and any good workshop could tune.
