Hi my name is Daryl, Im 45 years old and a life long car nut. I'm currently building a 240Z for Tarmac Rallying. A tarmac car has similar demands to circuit cars but the roads arent as smooth, tarmac is also very unforgiving should you stray from the black stuff, comprehensive roll cages are necessary. Apart from the zed in my shed, I have a TA22 Celica, Nota Fang sportscar, Toyota Sprinter. I'm very impressed with the info shared on this site, I have found that it is easier and cheaper to talk to people who have already done the performance build than to do it twice. Here is a list of some of the components I am looking for - 5 speed gearbox ( late model converted to suit L28 ) Tripple carbs on manifold Front and rear struts with large brakes(must be able to fit 16inch wheels) Ported head to suit L28 (looking for 10.2:1 compression) Electronic distributor Front and rear spoiler (small factory type) If you have this performance gear and are thinking of selling it I would love to hear from you, please send PM, Cheers.
