1600dave to answer some of your questions yes the engine was complete and the head and carbs were pulled down for inspection. The bores looks good but of coarse due to being a raced motor the tolerances would be very tight so a hone and deck on the block would be ideal before a reassembly. At the moment the block is in the car and the head and carbs are in one piece. The carbs were tuned for this motor and raced with them. The rollcage is a bolt in aluminium cage with a cams log number. Mounts down to six points. The back two sections mounts to the rear parcel shelf and have a thick alloy sheet across the whole rear parcel shelf. The cage is surrounded with cage padding. As far as the box and diff are concerned, i was told the previous owner was told "they had something done to them" but he could not confirm exact details when i took possession. Its def a five speed and gears feel tight but thats all i can say. I will try and take some more pics today. The car needs to go ASAP as in yesterday so if no interest here i will list it on ebay for a 3 day auction with starting bid at 1500. I think based on parts alone this price is fair

Hi Guys, Just decided to sell one of my sets of wheels. This is a set of 15inch by 10 inch wide black steel wheels with a stepped lip. They are 0 offset and are brand new. They have never been mounted to a car and come as new in the box still wrapped. They are 114.3x4 and would look amazing on the z with the right stance. To fit a standard z you will need a slip on spacer to clear hitting the strut from behind. Or if you have camber adjustment and coilovers you may be fine. *SOLD*

Im really not sure mate as i was under the impression there is only a select few people that will transport vehicles that are incomplete or rolling shells. Im sure somebody here may be able to help answer your questions though

I have a Datsun 260z 2 seater rolling shell I purchased this vehicle some time ago and just stripped it for parts. I would keep it to restore but have no space in the garage. It has quite a few areas of rust but overall there are a few good parts to the car such as the original roof. The car will be rolling if i find some wheels or you can bring your own and take it away. The car will come with the rear diff, tailshaft, arms, struts, discs, fuel tank, steering rack and anything else shown in the photos. What you see is what you get. Sorry for the bad photos but ill take some new ones once its rolled out of the garage. Drivers rail is good but passengers has been cut near the end for a patch up job. Floor has been patched up and fixing up. Rear right guard has had some patching up done from the inside. Overall still not a car worth scrapping so hopefully someone will take the project on board.
