Hey mate, when we had it the motor was far from rooted, just needed to warm up as the carby didnt have a choke on it (might be what you're noticing). also the sss has a welded 4.11 diff under it. did notice that the front springs were far from captive and did at one stage come free and rub against the tyre and strut. other than that has alot of potential to be an extremely quick car. if you dont mind me asking, how much did you get the old girl for?
