Hi everyone, Datsun 260Z, 240Z E88 Complete Cylinder head Datsun 260Z or 240Z E88 Head Complete with Cam to suit L26 engine. I purchased this head around 2 years ago from a reco head guy in Preston Melbourne. The head was stripped, cleaned and reconditioned. Cost me around $500 at the time as I was going to used in on my L26 but ended up selling the car. I'm not a mechanic so I have no idea if it's fitted with a standard cam or springs blah blah blah blah...... All I know it has been reconditioned. Asking price $250. the rust and cracks in the paint were there when I purchased the car 2 half years ago. The worst is in the drivers door but not bad. I also have a folder of receipts dating back over 10 years of everything spent on the car

last of all interior. Can anyone help out with the seats. I'd like to let it go complete cause those black seats kill me everytime I look at them

Was watching Foxtel this afternoon and as usual nothing on so I flicked it over to the Speed channel 505 and I starting watching a show called Car Warriors where two team - one team the all starts and some other team have to customise two identical cars...and todays episode the car was a Dutson 240zee (in an American accent). Any way the All Star absolutely made a mess of the body adding a foam filled customer body with the roof chopped off and adding a 600HP V8. It looked like a Bizarro 240zeeee. Not very good. Not sure how the strengthen the car...they didn't show that bit. The other team added a 450HP V8 painted RED with a white strip running front front to rear. Definitely my pick I found this on You Tube. If you go to the Speed TV site it won't let you watch the episode cause we're outside the US

yep found one at Autobarn. another question. did Datsun release the Z range with a stnadard 2 barrel carbie setup. Reason i ask is the guy at Autobarn asked which carbie set up i had after pulling out a round air filter??

Went to Repco today to buy a factory / standard Air Fliter and they tell me they have bene discontinued. Mine has seen better days. Can anyone guide me in the right direction as to where or who sells them. I was given a part #A1238 Thanks

I'm hunting for an Air Con Idler pulley assembly and fan belt for 76' 260 2+2. I've been told there are millimeter differences between some units. Is this right??

Help needed to remove and fit a complete aircon. I've found a car with a fully functioning air con system BUT I was hoping someone who knows their way around a 260 2+2 could help me remove the complete unit and install it into my car. The donor car is in Moorabbin, VIC. I think I might but the whole car which looks in pretty good nick and sell off the rest of the car. I’ll take some photo’s once I check the car out and let everyone know what’s available on offer.
