Can someone enlighten me as to what is the difference between the inlet manifolds marked E88 vs N36 ? Also the difference between 3 screw and 4 screw roundtops ? Lastly what is the correct head, manifold and carby combo on a AUS spec 1972 240Z ? Decided to return the old girl back to original after tracking down the original engine... Any advice is appreciated.

Complete engine and gearbox still in a car. Currently on ebay, as I am not really sure what the going rate is for Z parts. I will welcome any advice as to what the current market prices are...... Happy to take offers, and possibly split into three entities, carbies, motor and gearbox. Greeting to all, My name is Sel, and I am a first time Z owner. It is a late 1972 model, manual, brown with pumpkin coloured interior. One family owned before me. I am located in Woodcroft, in Sydney's western suburbs. Although first time Z owner, I have owned more than 20 Datsuns, mostly rare and obscure models, like early Fairlady (one that I converted to a SR20DET), 3XX/4XX Bluebirds, 3XX series utes and a pickup and a rare dual cab among others. Currently awaiting arrival of the Aristo (19/05) and the R154, ready to go into the Z. Happy to learn and share my experiences with fellow Forum members. Cheers, Sel
