RAZZ Best reply to your question by far is from chris240, plus it sounds like he is willing to provide some help in appraising the cars potential. It seems inconceivable the only rust this car would have is in the firewall. I would also steer clear of compatant panel beaters ( whatever they are?)

Maybe your concern shouldn't be how much the car is worth, but how much will it cost to get someone to take it away!!!!! There are some 2+2s currently advertised on car sales for mid to high teens ( Some very ordinary cars I might add, what are they thinking?), and I gather because of this some people form the impression even the poorest example is worth $5000. How much is your car worth? I think you know it's value, but you are hoping someone will tell you it is worth a lot more.
