Thanks that is the sort of info I was after, I tried for hours searching on the net. I have found a better 240Z and are looking at buying instead, it's a complete car rust included. (tho it's not running) But it does have a very low build number, Under 500. Will check it out and see how much work it needs

Hey guy's first post for me I'm looking at a 240z to buy at the moment (witch is currently striped down for painting ) And want to know how I can make sure it's really a 240Z of course the stamp in the engine bay says HS30 101XXX but it's got a 2.6l engine and has bonnet grills What's the deal with the bonnet grills?
