retromods

Hello there! Im posting all the way from the uk here.... i actually joined this forum and wrote this yesterday, its taken a while to get down under :lol: ok sorry i'll stop with that ive recently seen one of these on ebay as ive been wondering what car i can choose for my next project! ive been into the classic mini scene for a while now but every so often have a rear-wheel classic outburst! ive had a mk2 escort - but too common - a reliant scimitar - nice but dont see what makes it so special..... suppose it didnt appeal to me as much as an enthusiast! Ive been diggin around trying to find a forum for the 240/260 but unless i havent looked hard enough i cant seem to find one in the UK! but, this site seems to hold lots of information about them so should keep me busy for a while reading up! on another note, i host a forum http://retromods.freeforums.org/portal.php which isnt based around any car in particular, but is based around OTHER forums and car related stuff! one of the reasons why i made it was because it can be hard trying to search for one kind in particular, so i thought hey, wouldnt it be good if there was one forum which had links to OTHER forums?! theres also a video section too for a bit of fun, but its really not a technical place! but please pop in and have a look, its quite new so dont expect much but by all mean register and put a link up to this forum or any others that you might know about! meanwhile, i'll go look in the gallery here! cheers mic
