Hi guys,
im very new to this forum. i've been looking at buying a Z for some years now and finally im very close. Im currently looking at a 240Z in Perth. looks to be in a great nick.
anyway, while waiting, i thought i'd give guys in Z shop a call to get a rough quote for an A/C install. Had a chat with Lindsy, he told me that he had all the parts for the job bar the box in which the evaporator sits. he said to call another guy to find out whether he could make a box for it. so i did and we'd agreed on me calling them today to get a rough price. What do i hear today when i call him... sorry mate, i've got shit up to my neck and it will be like this for the foreseeable future.
I mean i understand, everyone is busy, but i found it a bit..... uh.. dissappointing to say the least.
THe question is, is there anyone esle in Victoria who can do the job? I suppose not just the A/C, but general Z work. Because by the looks of it, if i buy the car and something goes tits up, im F@#ked.... boys down at the Z shop are too busy working on racing engines to help out poor bastard with $200 job.
