  1. I'm haveing to top up the hydraulic fluid (both brake and clutch) quite often. I can't see where it is leeking. Any suggestions as to what's going on would be great thanks, Michael
  2. Thanks Mr Camouflage I have registered my car this morning with wazregister useing 3-73 as the build date, however I may have to change this at a later date My engine no. was L24 125945 Michael
  3. Hi all My 240z came without a compliance plate (misplaced during restoration?) I was led to believe the build date is a 72, however I have just noticed faint impressions on the side guard where the plate should be, stamped maybe 3 73. With a chasis No. of HS30 100414, I was hoping someone may have one around the same number to shed some light as to the build date thanks, Michael
  4. What really got me started about the front indicators, is that there is a 240 for sale and it has them on the side guards like the US spec.
  5. Hi all Whilst I am still shopping for a 240 can anyone fill me in with the correct type of front indicators that is aussie spec. I have seen them on the side guards and my old one had them mounted on the front bumper, but most are without. Also my old 240 "73" had a throtle control next to the choke. Was this not standard in aussie spec?
  6. Just trying to find out how to work this site. I am a bit computer stupid!!!
  7. Hi all, I just registered a couple of days ago on this site and put a wanted ad in the classifieds. Have really enjoyed reading the articles on this site over the past couple of months. I had a 73 240z from 1982 to 85 which I still regret selling to this day! (Although it didn't work too well as a builders ute.) I always imagined when I bought another one it would be another 240 or a 260 two seater. I would appreciate your feedback as to whether you think a 260 two seater has the same "appeal" in the market as a 240. I also read someones article regarding changing auto to manual was quite uncomplicated. Has anyone else done this? I would appreciate any feedback and help in locating a 240. Regards, Michael
