WTD: 240Z dash loom and door latches and handles

Hi Guys,

I'm pretty stoked because I have finally gone and seen the interior that was missing from the 240Z I've been wanting to purchase for some time. Almost everything is there and in brilliant condition bar a couple of 'important' things.

Bascially the guys stripped it to take it to the panel shop but the shop has removed the inside and outside door handles, the mechanism inside the door with linkages etc, and the part that is screwed to the body that the door latches onto.

They have done the same thing with the boot and bonnet release/lock, but I may be able to salvage something from the 280ZX I have left.

Also they removed the dash obviously (which is prestine ) but left the harness/loom in the car which has also dissapeared. So I need one of those as well to plug into the back of the dash. This includes the ignition harness as well which is probably joined to the engine wiring loom which as you probably guessed is also MIA. The engine/ignition is a lot easier to make up myself but it's the dash loom with plugs etc that scares me.

What have you guys got that could help me out??

Tim ill be pulling apart (wrecking it  :'() my 240z parts car in near future. prob in around 4weeks time.

prob can help you with the loom.

as for locks and latches i think im missing them as well but got a few of the 260z ones. prob fit but could be wrong.

I sure would be mate, I'm pretty sure someone on here has said before that they are the same until 76 or something when they changed during the 260z model.

it looks similar to the 260z ones. but i think the 2+2 have extra connection for the back open handle. not sure if this will be an issue on the 2 seater. prob not.

i think i got two door handles not sure of condition i think they have few scratches on them.  i had two rechromed and cost me $25 for both. new handles can be purchased from nissan at around $70 per handle.

hopefully this weekend ill be ripping bits out of that 240z for the loom. I didnt forget you . just have heaps of things to do. as for the latches i think should have a set for you too.

on sunday ill have the bits sorted out and ill take some pics for you. than decide what u want.

possibly have the latch mechanism but not sure about the lock itself.need to check that out.

Hey Mate

Got some of the catches for hatch and the the strikers for the doors in the shed. I will have a dig around tomorrow and let you know what Ive got.
