Quote Description 1971 Datsun 240Z - Right Hand Drive. REGO ON HOLD !! This car has some cool race history & was previous owned by Wayne Murdoch a well known driver in the racing scene, the car has done some very cool historic events such as The Waimate 50 / Lady Wigram etc. I purchased the car about 12 months ago & have now decided I need to move on & let someone else own this very cool 240Z. I have done the following since purchasing : New engine rebuild so new flat top pistons / flywheel the whole lot has been done by PK at Kennally Cams. New stainless extractors / New custom Exhaust built by Petes Customs / Gearbox rebuilt by the Gearbox company, The front struts are FIA Group A Nissan with Sumitomo Calipers so I have had Braketech make new pads for the car. Wheels in the pictures are 15 x 8 RKR with Kuhmo 215 /50/15 & I have a set of Genuine 14 x 7 Watanabe rims and R888 Semi Slicks for the vehicle also. The Race seat has been put in by Pete's Customs and can be adjusted using a lever. Solid car very little rust if any plus this vehicle looks to have had no crashes over the years & is good example but not perfect as it has the odd ding but nothing major just good old wear and tear from screaming around tracks. What's left to do? Cerification for Cage / Struts & Engine or cut the cage out & cert Wof very easily. Cooling fans Oil Catcher Can Seat Belts The wiring needs a thorough going over but functioning fine at at the moment The car has just had a mechanic look over the entire car & his words were it is a very solid car & would pass a wof if certified. Hate to see her go but I have other commitments that need attention also.
