Not for the faint hearted. Requires a full restoration

Early AKA Series 1 (below chassis number 500) Datsun 240Z

Originally painted 901 silver

Mostly disassembled minimum rust project car number HS30 00257

Engine number L24 021716 & desirable E31 high compression cylinder head with minor corrosion

Most of the quirky specific early model original bits are included

Matching number seized complete engine, fly wheel, clutch, Hitachi carburetors with chromed air filter box, metal clutch fan & coupling, original early button diode type Hitachi part # 23100-A4800 alternator, starter motor, recently reconditioned original radiator, cast iron exhaust manifold, reconditioned FS5C71A flange close ratio 5 speed gearbox & stick, 2 piece tail shaft, diff, struts, straight bonnet, lights, indicators, tail lights, dash with gauges, good cardboard glove box, original factory radio with broken tuning knob stalk, no face plate or knobs, OK early centre console, ash tray, cig lighter, coin holder, twin choke/hand throtle plate and lever/cable mechanism, ignition and door keys, early no holes in spokes steering wheel with horn pad, lumbar adjustable type seats (not lay back) tool bag, jack & wheel brace, masonite spare wheel cover, vented back hatch with glass, genuine factory option hatch duck tail spoiler, front and rear bumpers with new rubbers


After it's collision the 240Z was store in a dry garaged for 30 years. Then moved to inside an open shed in 2017

It is mostly in bare metal and primer.

Some surface rust on exterior panels

Rust in both dog legs and minor in the floor

The 240Z has had a pretty ordinary right hand rear fender/dog leg collision repair

Left hand inner rear skirt and chassis rail have also had a previous poor repair.

Another RH dog leg/sill section and a LH skirt, battery frame and rail are included

The driver’s door is dented. Frames OK
