1973 240z

901 Silver with red interior

Matching numbers engine

Chassis #103739

$32,000

As far as I can tell this was originally a Canberra car - old registration documents as far back as 2005 are included with the sale but no service history or similar is available.

This car is still sporting its original paint and was parked up to await restoration some 5 years ago, where it was driven off the trailer and ran happily. No recent attempt has been made to start it so an extensive service and inspection would be recommended before starting and running the engine.

The original matching numbers engine is still in the car, accompanied by original carbs, airbox and running gear (it is an auto).

There is rust in some of the usual places - both doglegs have old (bad) repairs clearly showing through, floors, drivers side chassis rail, drivers door + sill and hatch slam panel also showing rust. Other areas of the car look reasonable, good or even excellent by the normal standard of old datsun, though there is also clear evidence of a prang in the front right that needs attention.

A non original (to the car) but oem 240z bonnet is included with the sale - the original silver bonnet was turfed as it bore the brunt of the prang and was deemed unrepairable *sigh*. Also included are non original front lower valance panels (to replace those likely damaged and discard in front end prang)

Photos of most areas and parts mentioned are shown below but if you are an interested buyer please message me for a full set of images. Any inspection welcome.

Located Mile End South Australia.

Interstate interest welcomed and assistance with transport can be arranged
