This is an original unmolested car that was owned for many years by an elderly enthusiast who in his later years put it into dry storage for over 20 years. When it came up for sale I had a pre purchase inspection carried out and they called and said “buy it”. This was a car that had been stored by an enthusiast and was in remarkably original condition with no signs of rust and so I had it transported to my home in Brisbane and started on the restoration. All of the work on the car has been carried out by professionals. The mechanicals were very original and I have kept them that way. The entire underside of the car has been restored or replaced including new period style mag wheels and 4 new tyres and it now drives and handles as it should. The interior was original but aged and so I have repaired and replaced parts as needed and it now presents in original condition.
