DevZed Posted February 10, 2012 Posted February 10, 2012 anyone know of someone that does custom fuel rails for the efi L28? Cheers Dev Quote
DatPilot Posted February 11, 2012 Posted February 11, 2012 The actual rail itself is not expensive, its the fittings you choose for it. What injectors will you be useing? (if its factory hose-tail, you'll need barbed fittings) Will you be upgrading in the future? (if you go to o-ring style units like the RB26dett GTR units, which flow 444cc, you will likely never need to upgrade again) Do you want a fuel pressure guage mounted, screw on (speedflow) fittings, or barbed ends? There is a fella in the USA, he has a site --- http://pallnet.webs.com/ He does know his stuff. But Id rather support an Aussie machinist to do it for me. Probably cheaper too (shipping from US is shite) Let me know what you end up doing, as Im after one to suit hose-tails for my L20et trickery Quote
Jason89 Posted February 11, 2012 Posted February 11, 2012 Efi hardware do custon fuel rails. http://www.efihardware.com/products/1784/Custom-Fuel-Rails Pretty expensive, but like datpilot said the material itself is pretty cheap. I bought a piece of fuel rail extrusion and drilled the injector holes and tapped the ends because in a tight ass. Quote
DevZed Posted February 14, 2012 Author Posted February 14, 2012 looks like i may be able to get my Machinist/Zed shop mate to set it up for me... hopefully it will be all done for a couple of cases of beer but seriously im looking at getting a new fuel pump and regulators as well as injectors to go with the rail. i need to rebuild my alternator really soon though because im having trouble running headlights on top of just engine electrics right now so adding more electrics probably wont help >.< Cheers guys, Dev Quote
