$350

E88 head, no camshaft, ported ( mild) and shaved approx 20 thou, chambers cc'd / matched at 40.9cc. 42/38mm valves ( stock)

Requires a clean up and ready to go.

You could get a head and do it yourself, but by the time you then get it flowed, and match ported, and then all cc'd correctly etc etc, ( cost for that expect $1000), and the time it will take, you are better off buying one that has had the work done, and then finish it off.

I bought this head off Datman2k last year but have gone a different route with the engine:

I got an e88 ready to go, it has external spray bar, but easy to make it run an internal oiled cam, its chambers are cc'd to 40.9 cc and all equalised, it has had a bit shaved off, i'd say 20 thou to get this, good thing with the early head is that its comb, chambers are the "peanut" closed shape, good for high comp. but, gotta be carefull you dont put too much volume into it, ie' greater than a 2.8 ltre. This head came off a full race 240z with a L24 motor that would rev and produce powere to 8000 rpm, I know 'cos i raced alongside him!
