Width of zed with flares???

I am bolting some zg flares to my car. And would love to get some idea of what I will need to bolt to the brakes to fill out the guards. What is the extra width of the gaurd that I will need to make up with in wheel. 2 inches?

I just measured it out:

 

Standard width:  1626mm

My car (approx):  1680mm

See attached photo of 240z with flares - extra wheel width is a matter of personal preference, but if you run the car mainly on the street be carefull as the car will "tramline" with wider wheels.

 

My car is track only & the bigger "blue" jongbloed wheels are 16x10 rears & 16x9 fronts with 0 offset. I will attached other photos of other wheels (in separate post) performance 15x8 -4 offset.

So yes, around 2 inches each side.  BTW, it was 1680mm front and rear. I am running 17x8.5 Rotas front and 17x9 rear.  I found the rears are perfect, but I think the front offset isn't enough.  9 inch front would probably be good.  Thats obviously based on the offsets of the Rotas, different wheels will have different offsets.

I should note the green 240z is running adjustable height coilovers with the smaller diameter king springs. Standard struts/springs do create clearance issues for bigger wheels etc.
