Old licence plates

I would like to get a few old licence plates, singles are fine.

 

A friend of mine collects licence plates and sounded like he would like some from Australia, something that would be especially rare in Canada. lol

How old and from what State would you prefer? I have a few plates but not old at all. A few double sets too

I guess I should have really said "not being used", instead of old.

 

Really it doesn't matter where they are from, no preferred state, and no preference on age, just something to hang on the wall beside all the other plates. Most of his are from Canada and the States, he some from Hawaii, and Guatamala, where his Cutlass came from.

 

I just figured it would be nice to get him some from other places too.

 

Post up some pictures of what you have and give me an idea of what you want for them. I don't want to pay much, especially since shipping will be a bit pricey, but let me know.

Just be careful about plates. I think it is required that all plates must be handed in on the canceling of a vehicles registration. Therefore the carrying and storing of plates that don't belong to a vehicle registered in your name might get you into trouble. Not sure about different states and I know it isn't policed very well but just letting you know. Bit different to the US.

I think it's ok as long as you don't have a pair; there's a guy on ebay selling heaps of plates but only one. I'll post up pics when I can..
