Get a mutlimeter, set it on diode check so you can hear a "beep" when you touch the probes together then go under the car while the gearbox is in reverse and check each switch on the gearbox till you get a switch that goes "beep". From memory, some late 280ZX boxes have a few switches; find the one that closes contacts when in reverse. Quote
