skyrit Posted November 6, 2010 Posted November 6, 2010 can anyone tell me, or better, have a picture showing how to access the clutch master cylinder? I just bought this car and know nothing about it and any help would be greatly appreciated. I think it is behind the firewall, but am hoping it can be accessed from underneath. I am an extreme novice when working on cars and need all the visual help I can get. Thanks to anyone who might have the answer. (I'm trying to bleed the clutch) Quote
garvice Posted November 6, 2010 Posted November 6, 2010 http://i133.photobucket.com/albums/q63/garvice/IMG_3864.jpg?t=1289081586 Open your bonnet, stand on drivers side and you will see above. Clutch master is bottom left of photo. You can see a single resovior in the photo above the brake booster. Also, buy your self a service manual or better yet download a factory service manual. Quote
skyrit Posted November 6, 2010 Author Posted November 6, 2010 garvice and salty: thanks for the quick replies, I need all the advice I can get. Very much unskilled in these areas. Salty, I was thinking that reservoir was the right one, was just afraid to dig in too deep without knowing for sure. I bought a Chilton's and a Clymers but neither have the diagrams I need. Thanks for the info guys, very much appreicated. Quote
skyrit Posted November 7, 2010 Author Posted November 7, 2010 yes, in the US. As I was looking at the pics I had thought it would be reversed, thanks for confirming. Quote
