Zed prices in south east QLD/Zed's in toowoomba.

Hi everyone

 

Just wondering what sort of price one would pay for a 240z/260z 2 seater nowadays. I'm really keen for another project car to do a full bare metal resto, but i don't want one that comes out looking like swiss cheese when it gets stripped down. Engine would not be a huge deal though if it can run it will be easier for moving around initially. I was hoping for a cheap bargain but the more i read the more i'm thinking that's just a dream..

 

Also, late next year i am getting married in Toowoomba, and i was curious if there are a number of good quality Zed's in the garden city as we will be chasing wedding cars, and i can't think of a better ride for the best day of my life

take a look at http://www.viczcar.com/forum/index.php/topic,4501.0.html ,there was a discussion on prices.

 

The 240's seem to range anywhere fro $1200.00 for basic shell and hinge-ables (with rust) to $30K+ for "restored".

 

If you want something decent to start with, minimal rust and complete,you'd be looking at at least $8,000-$10,000.

 

But hey, there's still bargains out there, just gotta be quick, with the money and no hesitation.
