Gearbox question.

Hey guys,

 

I'm a noob..

 

I know practically nothing about gearboxes but I would love to learn.. I have 280ZX project car.. the current gearbox is jamming in what seems to be reverse - taken it a few places.. they can unjam it.. but it keeps jamming again.. synchro's are gone or something.. So i'm looking to replace it..

 

I realise this is an old forum post - but I though i'd try anyway..

the list at the beginning of this thread by Lurch.. can I use any of those boxes to replace my current one? and if so, anybody got one? HAH! having trouble finding any decent gearboxes around the place..
