Door skin repairs Part 1

Hi everyone!

 

I thought it was about time to join the forums. I have posted some pictures of the door skin sections that I had made and welded on. As you can see the "old" sections had serious rust holes that extended quite high up on the door, which means that those small "bottom only" repair panels that some people use simply won't do.

 

On one picture you can see that we tried to do some "patch up" repairs on one of the old skins, but later decided that we had to get them fabricated to avoid future problems. The name of the guy that made them is Peter Tomaceeney, but I cant remember if it was Bayswater or Kilsyth that he is at. If i can remember I will post the information so people have another option for their doors.
