zedls1 Posted February 11, 2009 Posted February 11, 2009 Hi all, not sure if this topic has been discussed before, but i was hoping someone here has come across this issue. Walked into the garage tonight, lifted the car cover off the Z and noticed at the base of the drivers door mirror cracked paint. Now I started scracthing my head thinking WTF. I havent driven the car for 2 weeks and prior to that I washed it, parked it and put the cover back on, all was perfect. My dad and I have been hard at preping and painting the exterior of the house(ahh the joys of a weather board home), been to stuffed to drive anywhere. I know we've had some extremely scoarching weather, surely that would'nt have caused it, then I realised that my dad(god bless him)being in and out of the garage has been knocking the mirror so I called him tonight and questioned him on it and yes he admitted knocking it a few times, well I let him know that they must have been some hard knocks. Has any one experienced this? is it worth calling one of the mobile paint repairers? Thanks John Quote
