Jospef Posted October 31, 2008 Posted October 31, 2008 So I have this switch underneath the steering wheel to the left. It's a two position switch, it has red, yellow, green and black going to it. I've flicked it and can't figure out what it does? Any ideas? Quote
Mr240z Posted October 31, 2008 Posted October 31, 2008 I,ve got the same switch mine was for the power aerial i think (missing electric aerial) Quote
Jospef Posted October 31, 2008 Author Posted October 31, 2008 Could be. I think the white comes from the back, looks like it might travel through the centre console. Taking it off now to suss it out. My aerial isn't electric though, just a standard manual one. I figured this out the other day by dropping it inside the panel :|. Bit of stuffing around to get it out, haha. Quote
warrenz Posted October 31, 2008 Posted October 31, 2008 The switch for the electric antenae on my 73 240 is next to the fuse box under the flap at the front of the centre console. I have a rotary switch in that position which is the dimmer switch for the gauge lights. Warren Quote
Jospef Posted October 31, 2008 Author Posted October 31, 2008 My fuse box is on the other side, in front of the drivers side door. It must be for the antenna system. Before I thought it was a 2 position switch (thinking it was broken), but now I've opened it up and it's like a switch you have to hold down. Quote
