zed510 Posted July 6, 2008 Posted July 6, 2008 Can anyone help. I am lowering my 260 1+1 with kings low springs, dampened by koni adjustables. I have been trying to find 'consistent' information on reloaction of the lower control arm pivot point. I have the crossmember out ready to go. I am sure I read somewhere that 20mm up and 20mm out seems to work well to give 2ish deegfrees neg camber and allowance to reduce bump steer. We tried this on mates and it seems okay. Does any one know if this is correct for approx 1 3/4" lowering??? Quote
Scando Posted July 7, 2008 Posted July 7, 2008 My car has them relocated approx 20mm up and 20mm out as you say. It has coilovers in it so I'm not sure how much lower it is than standard but it's quite low. The car works well on the track so I'd say you're about right with those measurements Quote
Moderators Zedman240® Posted July 7, 2008 Moderators Posted July 7, 2008 Did to mine also, but had someone else modify the cross member and all I did was swap them while the engine was out. Got a pic of it if it helps but 20mm sound about where mine is. Quote
