Its a worry that the minute I see a zed of any description I try to tie it to a member of VicZcar... and who else drives a green one?

If you haven't worked it out by now, I was the guy in the blue range rover with flares and silly little wheels, who slowed down to wait for you, then kept alongside, then dropped back a gear and took off (well, as much as a 3.5 rangie can!) You could have booted it so I could have a listen!

hehe how funny, i was sitting there smiling at the sound of your v8 and just how much the car rocks back when you gave it some throttle, head checking must be a pain in something that size, specially compared to a zed! all i was thinking was hehe sucker, i picked a better lane :D where abouts do you live? i was on my way to a work meeting at northland, i normally dont go that way but went via tint-a-car...

my cars nothing to listen to compared to your beast, my car almost sounds as much like a hair dryer as ea falcons do  ohwell that will change, i was liking the flares on your car, didn't notice the rims though, just thought they were rather zg styled

Lol - I use the same lane every day, I have like set points where I change lanes, its just habit.... My springs are a bit sagged in the back I think, and the sheer inertia of 2 tonnes of car doesn't help... If it rocks back as much as you say its no wonder I can get the inside front wheel spinning easy as..... I can definitely get the back to slide bulk sideways on my offroad tyres in the wet by lifting off the throttle..

Head checks are actually easy as, because the glass comes down so low in an old range rover.... if it was a discovery it'd be a pain.

I live in Watsonia, about 10-15 minutes from Northland - don't tell me you normally work at Northland, cause that'd just be scary....

The flares on my car are Rangie Spares flares, pretty much everyone who chops their gaurds out for big tyres puts them on, but yeah, they do look really good when the cars clean - look better when I have my 34x11.5 inch offroad tyres on instead of my tiny little stock 29x8.5 tyres. You would have definitely noticed those tyres if they'd been on, mostly because of the howling noise they make at any speed, and the massive side lugs that stick out....

Ah well, when I completely bald the onroad tyres, I'm getting 33s for on the road, which will be the end of looking gay in road trim.

Your car looks pretty damn clean cruising along - even the rims look good, I'd kind of forgotten what stock wheels look like on the car, since mine hasn't been out the garage in ages, and no-one really has stock wheels on their zeds.

yeah i work at northland normally, but not everday, i'm just a casual...i really needa work somewhere closer, today when i just got home i realised i'd left with a set of keys so had to go back to return them  good waste of an hour, its not even an exciting drive!

thats sad that u have certain spots when you change lanes hehe, i guess i do on my way home if its peak hour, but i try to find as many different ways to get places so it aint as boring, have about 7 different ways to my gf's place that all take close to the same time hehe

i find it weird even driving basically any car after being so used to the zed now, thanks for the compliments on the car, but yeah, u can't see the rust from afar hehe. they sound like some massive wheels, i needa polish my rims, but then i needa do alot of things but never get around to it
