Classicman Posted February 21, 2016 Posted February 21, 2016 I've been trying to find new bumper rubbers for both my '73's, but can't seem to find them anywhere. All sites have them for the earlier cars up to '72, but '73 is NLA. Is there a difference in the bumpers and or rubbers between the early and late cars? Does anyone know if the '72 rubbers will fit the later cars? Quote
PeterH Posted February 21, 2016 Posted February 21, 2016 Are you looking at sites in the US ? I think they changed over there about that time. I have a 73 bumper that has been rechromed and rubbers that I bought ( early type ) Happy to measure the bolt spacings and give you the Datsun part numbers if you like. Classicman 1 Quote

PeterH Posted February 21, 2016 Posted February 21, 2016 It might be tomorrow before I can do it. Quote
PeterH Posted February 21, 2016 Posted February 21, 2016 I hope this helps. The bolt spacings in the photo are, from left to right, centre to centre of the bolts. 157mm,155mm,158mm I know that sounds odd but I measured them with vernier calipers ( real ones not digital or dial ) There may be a bit srink or stretch in the rubber but it fitted my 1973 bar without any stretching. That part number is listed as fitting 240z 260z right hand drive. Pete Classicman 1 Quote
