datZun Posted June 9, 2015 Posted June 9, 2015 i had a read through a couple other discussions about something similar recently but can find the post. i have a 74 260Z and have purchased a 3 core aluminium radiator for it which i will soon put two fans on. the radiator i purchased has a perfect surface to put a thermo switch in the bottom tank. since its going to be cooler in the bottom tank, i thought it would use a 87/77 °C switch just to counter for the heat loss in the bottom tank. is this a good choice of range for the switch or is an 90/85 C a better choice. thankyou in advance. Graedat Posted June 9, 2015 Posted June 9, 2015 I have put thermo fans on a few of my cars and only use SPAL units. There are plenty on fleebay and come with a good sensor and a nice big relay. You can also get a double relay kit for two fans. http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/100-Authentic-SPAL-195FH-195-C-Thermo-Switch-Relay-Harness-Fan-Harness-Kit-/181265984496?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_15&hash=item2a344b6bf0 Quote
