Clockwork
Finally get to start on my 260 now that ive (almost) finished my partners ke38 corolla (beating, painting, mild mechanical work - rear axle bearings, suspension front and back, brakes) Wondering whether fellow Tas owners got bushes locally and if so where from (and a general question to all members, what type do you use, rubber/poly, Pro's and Con's). I would prefer to buy locally, unfortunately Sparco here in Hobart have a very limited range. If you have used both Rubber and Poly in your Z, have you found much of a noise and comfort difference? oldzguy
Hi, you could probably get the more universal bits, like sway bar bushes, from Pedders or Bursons. more specialised z stuff is likely quicker from an Ebay store like 'onlineperformance'. If you need everything then I'd a consider a US source like MSA Cheers
Scando
I used Noltec through mine and was very happy with the product. Didn't source them locally though.
Clockwork
Thanks for the replies. Noltec = Whiteline yeah? Comparing Nolathane and Whiteline, Whiteline seems to have more range - Nolathane didnt show any rear bushings. Thanks for the link to Online Performance, though looking at the kit they offer, it seems to be same price I was quoted at Bursons for Supapro gear. ($240 Full - $125 for rear kit) i'll do a bit more research n see where I end up

Do you know exactly what you are chasing?
Clockwork
Nah, im just seeing whats out there. Its going to be a second daily drive for a while before I put special interest plates back on. Im not wishing to spend a fortune on it atm, just need to get it back on the road (stupid tassie road laws), at a later date I will be stripping it right back and building it up again, but no time soon. Clockwork
erm, sorry, if you meant what bushes im chasing, im thinking I will have to do the works, from what i've seen under the car most of the rubber is in some stage of perishing, so i figure it will be best to do the lot in one sitting
Scando
Noltec = Whiteline yeah? From memory it was one of the partners from Nolathane went out on his own, I could be wrong though. It was a while ago! Not sure if they're still around or not.
