dat2kman Posted September 28, 2013 Posted September 28, 2013 In the local chip wrappers, the Warwick Chronicle, recently, the guys and crew from TopGear, the BBC tv show have made plans to use a Qld track. They contacted Norwell's Holden Driving Centre, but the Gold Coast Council said NO to the lifting of the noise restriction in place. Warwick District Spirting Car Club have laid out the welcome mat! No details yet, about where, or why, but they nned a place to make nouse, it seems. No dates mentioned, more likely 2014 sometime? No idea if any Zeds are involved, but most of us up here in Qld will no doubt hear more, soon. Quote

dat2kman Posted September 30, 2013 Author Posted September 30, 2013 One of the attendees at Morg Park over weekend just gone, on late Sunday arvo, as everyone had packed up, and all pretty well gone, saw a large truck, set up for Outside Broadcast/ Film crew arrive, and park at rear of pit complex. Maybe happening sooner, no-one is supposed to know when/what! Quote
PZG302 Posted September 30, 2013 Posted September 30, 2013 Happened today apparently. When I left Morgan Park yesterday there was the white V8 Supercars transporter omn the entry road waiting for everyone racing to pack up and piss off so they could go in and unpack. One restaurant booked out tonight was some of the scuttlebut I heard up there on Sunday. Car tested was the first Holden CotF built, the one with the circuit board livery. It was wrapped on Friday with an Xbox livery for the test. Was interesting to see who the invoice was made out to for the work..... Quote
