dat2kman Posted September 21, 2013 Posted September 21, 2013 Qld R/Way and Lakeside R/way both use a small clip on voice radio reciever, so control tower can "talk/advise/warn" etc whilst out on track. I now have a brand new one , unused, still in packaging, for sale. Their regular price is $120. Selling at $110 If PZG wants it, it's cheaper again, as he lent me the timing transponder they use at both tracks now.! Quote
PZG302 Posted September 21, 2013 Posted September 21, 2013 Yeah, I'll take it Jason, I'll need it for the October 1 hour. Quote

I know that you can run pit to car comms, on individual setups, but this radio reciever is one way, ie Race Control to all cars. It worked a treat at Lakeside, we had a number of incidents, you are full nouse, and BANG your ears are full f verios messages. Can see merit in this for sure. Find out just what psscraq are doing re coms. The unit can ge programmed with gazillion UHF type channels, similar to an ICOM transceiver. Quote
PZG302 Posted September 22, 2013 Posted September 22, 2013 I'll need it for the car I'm driving in and then the 200. Terry's old school, a big pit board to come and change drivers is all that's needed, no need for fancy pants radios...... Quote
