hi guys!

 

my name is simon and i'm currently living in perth

 

ive been a fan of the z cars for a few years now and thought i would join a forum to learn more about them.

 

im currently at edith cowan university studying a double degree of engineering mechatronics/motor sports

 

i want to start a project car that i can build up from first year and slowly progress through out my time at uni hopefully ill be able to find a banged up z that i can attempt to restore with all my motorsport mates

 

my daily driver is an evo 8with some mild mods but nothing crazy

Hi Simon,

 

Welcome. Good to here from another Perth boy. There is a 240Z on Gumtree at the moment that may suit. Also the local WA 240/260 Z register has a number of cars competing regularly in sprints, hill climbs and Tarmac events. The guys are really helpful, one of them may know of something suitable for what you are looking for. Pm me your phone number and I will see if I can point you in the right direction.

That sounds awesome ill try my best to attend theses events. I recently went to the ses super sprint at barbagallo to watch and there were some wild cars out. But I can't remember seeing a z unfortunately

 

I don't know if you can tell but I'm a total noob but in super keen to learn about these awesome cars pmd
