FOR SALE: 1974 260Z 2+2 with ZG styling

Model: 1974 Datsun 260Z 2+2

Item Condition: Mechanically excellent, only let-down is the paint.

Body: Not show quality but straight, panels line up well, g-nose fits nicely. In good condition with 75% fair paint.

Mechanical: Running with an L28, F54 block with N42 head and round top carbs.

Extra Info: The interior is recently reupholstered and in pretty mint condition with the only exception of the dash. It has cracks but is covered with a black dash mat currently. Other than that, it's a fantastic interior. We've done a full bush kit, steering and suspension, new tie rods and steering knuckles. All shocks are good, tires are happy and soft. The car is ZG 432 styled so has a g-nose, flares, fender mirrors and 432 style rear wing. It's obviously white with black gelcoat hardware. The wheels are 15x7 and 15x8 Neale Raker wheels, very rare and hard to come by, fill out the guards so very nicely. The chrome is in good condition throughout the car and all glass and rubbers are good around windows etc.

We transplanted an L28 into it with extractors and round top carbs, it's running fantastically with twin chokes and gets up and goes fairly decently. It has a rebuilt gearbox in it (done by the previous owner [sexualsushi]) which whines a bit, but in comparison to the box in my ZX is bloody fantastic. If I had the chance to steal the box I totally would.  The car is 99% rust free with the exception of surface rust in the paint chips and is being sold without an RWC but have done everything on our last RWC checklist. I'm going to do that really annoying thing where someone says 'no I'm not interested in buying it' BUT 'that is a really beautiful car'. Fantastic looking car, a credit to all the previous owners.
