  1. Is there a problem as mentioned above about extra length on the front bar? Just checked out your facebook page, its awesome! Is the red 240z rear hole-less from the same QLD supplier? Thanks
  2. Thanks for all the welcomes, I've attached a combined image of the compliance plate and the chassis VIN. I haven't cleaned the compliance plate up yet, its been sitting in a box for the last 15 years. Interesting about #121!
  3. Thanks for the quick reply. Much appreciated. Rad
  4. I'm not going to post his name/contact details online, he is a one man operation - old school work (lead wiping etc). He's doing it now more as a hobby. He used to have a workshop with a business partner many years ago. I'll only recommend him to people I know in person. The crap panel beater I used in 2013 was my brothers friend. He came highly recommended, my brother still shakes his head at what hell I went through. PB260: Am Western Sydney (sorry not to give exact location details)
  5. Hi, Been looking at alternatives other than getting my bumpers repaired (not in NSW due to environmental laws). Two sellers/manufacturers appear to be found in my searches: rotary_products_new_old_car_company in QLD http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/DATSUN-NISSAN-240Z-260Z-FRONT-WITH-NO-HOLES-BUMPER-BAR-/121176991989?pt=AU_Car_Parts_Accessories&hash=item1c36b628f5&_uhb=1 Muscle car parts in NSW: http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Datsun-240Z-70-73-Bumper-Bar-Front-Chrome-/271285577788?pt=AU_Car_Parts_Accessories&hash=item3f29e1683c&_uhb=1 I recall there were also some stainless steel bumpers from overseas a while back that people done a group buy. Any opinions on which one is better? considering there is a $174 difference in the eBay listed ones. Thanks Rad
  6. Hi, She's an early one: 11/70 #137 New member to Viczcar. Have admittedly been looking through posts here for years. Am not much of a keyboard warrior although I am involved very much in the automotive industry with my own business. Bought the car in 1996. Bare metal respray in 1998. Stored for many years in garage till 2010 when I finally had time to put it back together only to find humidity blisters all over. January 2013 finally started process again of a bare metal respray (previous panel beaters did take it back to metal, only to put bog everywhere). Had almost year of hell with crap panel beater who done a halfa*se job, and only half the car despite being paid fully. Next panel beater done excellent honest hard work (fixed a lot of mistakes by 2013's crap panel beater), would recommend him to anyone needing work done. Now car is ready to start reassembly. I have bought many parts over the years, but still have a few questions here and there so will be finally posting! Painted it in BMW Estoril Blue II. In 1998 it was painted in Estoril Blue (was a new colour back then). In 2013 BMW brought back Estoril Blue with version 2 - so am hoping it was my destiny to get it resprayed.... well I have to put a positive spin on it Plan is to do stock interior, L28 motor with tripple webers and finally get to drive her.
