I mistakenly purchased them for my 260z failing to realise the strut tower is taller than the 240z's thus they dont fit. looking for $100 for the pair excluding postage. Hi i have for sale a pair of Z31 Import front struts with: • R32 Skyline 4 Pot brakes with near new pads • Koni 8641-1060 (yellow) adjustable inserts • Lowered King Springs. Hi All, I currently have a 76 260z Coupe with suspension that is pretty much at the end of its life. I have been doing some searching both here and on HybridZ regarding suspension upgrades/modifications... I have decided that i would like to have coil overs (using a HSD kit from Otomoto) with sectioned struts, However given the parts i currently have spare ( ie not including the suspension on the car) im not sure which path to go down, so some advice would be greatly appreciated. Parts i have: a full set of 240z components (51mm strut diameter) z31 front struts with adjustable Koni Yellow inserts (8641-1060 sport) and z32 4 sport calipers with r33 discs (blanks drilled to 4 stud). (interestingly the z31 struts are also 51mm diameter) My current thinking is that the Koni Yellow inserts could be used in the 260z front struts and placed on the rear of the car without sectioning? and the z31 struts could be sectioned and fitted with Koni Yellows from a Corolla and then fitted to the front? If the above can work what should i be looking at for spring rates given that i intend on installing an RB30 and RB25DET gearbox in the future? (3 guesses who had an R31 in a past life ) Are there any advantages/ disadvantages of using 260z gear instead of 240z, other than the 260z struts are larger diameter and i assume (haven't measured) that the rear strut on the 260 is taller than that of the 240? Any advice will be greatly appreciated. Regards, David

Hi Guys As per the subject i am looking for the interior door handle/padded armrest in black to suit a 260z as the current one has perished. Does anyone have one in reasonable condition they are willing to part with? I'm located in Brisbane Cheers, David

i shouldnt have confused the situation by mentioning the XR6 turbo (turbo only and ancillaries) i have the standard r31 five speed box and flywheel.

Hi Guys I have a r31 skyline that is running an RB30 with XR6 turbo setup.. it has an excedy cluth and heavy duty pressure plate that has proven to be very good and i was wondering if it would fit onto the L28 in my 260z? Cheers, David

Thanks for all the responses guys. i think i might try vinny's suggestion first and see if i can find a simillar shaped piece to fit the hole i have. i cant think of many cars that have similar roof curves but i figure there may be some out there with bonnets or boots that have a compound curve that may work. ill keep you posted - probably in a different thread instead of the wanted section David

Hi I know it might be a big ask but i am looking for a replacement roof/ roof skin as the 260z 2 seater i have has had a sunroof cut into it. If anyone has a roof, sesction of a roof or knows someone in the Brisbane area that will do a good job in making up a replacement section it would be great to hear from you Cheers David

Hi Guys I am in the market for a 240z or 260z 2 seater rolling shell with complete interior as the basis for a project car. Ideally i am looking for a car that has a reasonable interior with a shagged engine/gearbox but willing to have a look at anything as long as its not a complete pile of rust. should you have such a vehicle or know of one send me a PM and we can go from there.
