  19. I see what you mean. For a mass produced strut brace, the adjustable concept would mean that it is going to fit most cars given the fact that each car is going to be a few mm's out here and there. However, if you are going to have them made to suit your car, then "adjustable" serves no purpose. well not that i can see anyway. I see the quoted Whiteline price of around $200. I paid about that for mine which were made to suit the car. Depends on what style you like best i suppose
  20. The only method I have seen for an adjustment at the top is to drill extra holes in the strut tower on the car chassis, so you would have a few different positions with which to insert the strut into the car; or a step further is a completely modifed strut tower in the car. Regarding adjustable camber via the control arm, Gav's method is by far the smartest way I know. I went the easy option and have the adjustable control arm bush that Warren referred to. It has an Offset 19mm Hole in it which provides the movement. It makes the ride even stiffer due the fact that it has no rubber in the mount, rather a hard plastic substance, I think it is called Delron?
  21. A company called Brown Davis in Bayswater made mine. Just a question, why would you want adjustable strut braces?
  22. Old sections removed
  23. Hi everyone! I thought it was about time to join the forums. I have posted some pictures of the door skin sections that I had made and welded on. As you can see the "old" sections had serious rust holes that extended quite high up on the door, which means that those small "bottom only" repair panels that some people use simply won't do. On one picture you can see that we tried to do some "patch up" repairs on one of the old skins, but later decided that we had to get them fabricated to avoid future problems. The name of the guy that made them is Peter Tomaceeney, but I cant remember if it was Bayswater or Kilsyth that he is at. If i can remember I will post the information so people have another option for their doors.
