240z How Much?

Hi  all,

 

As this is my first post it's one about what I'll be expecting to pay for a 240z with average body....?  It has standard interior with checker vinyl on tunnel and strut towers, no rips head lining is standard so I'm told. It look old so I guess it is. The head has just been rebuilt with ground cam rockers new valve springs and welded where needed.

 

That all I really know.

without seeing any pics or more info 8000-15000 i know its broad but there are so many variables!!

It also depends if the numbers match.

 

And early model (low numbered) cars seem to be valued more by a lot of people who wants to keep them original.

The numbers do match,  But I'm a tad confused. The old rego (1996) stickers say 74 datsun coupe but the vin number is HS30 10####. Am I correct thinking this is a 72?

 

Anyway I thought of some more info it's Auto, and and dash needs recovering.
