Freight Cost from Tamania?

Hi, I'm thinking of getting a 2+2 ($500) from Tazzie. Blown head gasket, rust under door & back window, manual & SU carb, interial ok, everything is there. Anyone think it's not a good idea? Anyone know any freight company that's cheap?

It's probably going to cost you the best part of $500 to have it shipped over. I'd be surprised if you couldn't find something similar locally for <$1000. If these parts are in good nick it _might_ be worth it:

 

- original gearbox

- guards

- bonnet

- bumper bars

- 240Z Hitachi's (ie not original 260Z carbs)

- front seats

- door trims

 

Of course if it has some performance parts that makes it worthwhile as well (eg extractors, exhaust, L28 - even with blown h/g, aftermarket shockes, etc, etc).
