Unfortunately I may have to sell my Zed for financial reasons. I originally purchased this car to gradually build as I enjoyed it, but have recently begun studying at university and cannot afford 2 cars anymore. I really don't want to sell it as this is my dream car, but my education has to come first. I'm going to post here first to give genuine Zed enthusiasts a chance to pick up a reasonably priced 2 seater. The car is far from perfect, with a pretty average paint job and some bog and rust. I have started to make some repairs over the last couple of months of owning the vehicle (all receipts available for work I have done). Vehicle is Queensland registered and with a mod plate. Registered until August, byo roadworthy.

The good:

9 months rego

All new polyurethane bushes all around

Watanabe style Rotas with near new Pirellis

Momo wood steering wheel

240z roundtop carbs (so I'm told)

 

The bad:

Body isn't too crash hot, suspect bog and rust in right rear dogleg

Rear right wheel bearing needs replacing

Needs a tune

Unsure of full history of vehicle, previously registered under Victorian special interest scheme

 

All in all this car is a good basis for a full restoration or enjoy for a couple of years until it needs a refresh. Like I said I would keep without hesitation if I could afford it, but keeping it just isn't feasible at this time.
