240Z 260Z Steering Column Interchangability

Hi all,

 

I have been discussing with Justin (600z) purchasing his electric power steering system for my 240z which is getting ready for the next event. To date, Justin has done this work for 260z's and only has a supply of 260z steering columns to draw upon. I believe the 260z is better in design.

 

Could someone please let either Justin or myself know the interchangability issues. I believe the steering wheel spline (quick release hub - not an issue) and the mounting point are known issues.

 

Other than that does anyone have a 240z steering column they are prepared to sell. Once the work is completed, I'd be prepared to exchange that from my existing car.
