It's important that the back of a Z looks good as this is what most people will be looking at whilst driving. Tail lights were restored very vary carefully. It took some effort to get them apart, cleaned and sprayed white inside so they look brighter when lit. The lenses were very carefully cleaned and dyed with red and yellow clear dye which negates the fading. It took two tubes of tooth paste to buff thoses lenses. At least 2 solid days effort in those tail lights and I got new seals as well.

Yep. I didn't get a photo of that when I did the interior restoration, but condensation causes corrosion. Some say I'm pedantic - but this is the forth car I've restored and I've learned that attention to detail is what makes a difference to how the car turns out.

New rubber seals for the front and rear windscreen. Putting that hatch seal on is a time consuming operation, my tip, buy lots of wooden pegs and do it over a week from the top middle out too both sides evenly so that it comes out nice.

Yep, I restored the entire ventilation system. I am trying to to hide an air conditioning unit in there but it's a bit fiddly on a car that didn't have it. There is carpet on the transmission tunnel covering a lightweight, flame retardent, heat and noise insulation. The under felt I'm not to sure about - things that hold water, don't hold water with me.
