I think the 2+2 is sexier.. the longer body fits the bonnet! not the 2+2 isn't sexy.. i just like the longer body - easier to find parts too

Vinyl is a cheaper choice and can be removed.. They also stand out a lot more and if placed properly can really enhance the look of certain aspects of a Z car Painted however blends extremely well and would last a lot longer than a vinyl stripe Either way, both look awesome - I'm just curious on peoples opinions.. Also to get some information; I was talking to "zzzzed" via PM about how somebody had made up some vinyl stripes for him... Does anybody know a company/website where I can like.. personalise stripes (or choose from a selection) and order? If there is no such thing.. perhaps I have a business on my hands! Cheers!

depends on the quality of them.. a top notch one can go for up to 20 grand from what I've seen... Wondering if you've gotten rid of this old girl yet... or if you've decided to maybe wreck it and sell it for parts? (you might get more than 1,500 that way) Either way, let me know if you do start selling parts as I would be interested (I also know for a fact that other people are also looking for someone to wreck a 280zx to get some parts off it)

to fit 1979, 280zx I've looked around the place... and have gotten suggestions on urethane spoilers and stuff (for the front apron) - but most of them are damaged or are outside my budget... just wondering if anybody is scrapping a 280zx and wanted to perhaps swap aprons (mine with a bit of money, i'll cover shipping costs) because you'll practically get the same from the wreckers and I get a decent apron i can touch up... Trimmings - if anybody can suggest a site that does them, or has a spare set I can buy? and window rubbers too

1979, 280zx Bought from the wreckers for $600 Runs great, next to no rust, dodgy interior... Only had 1 problem, dodgy gearbox... Kept getting jammed in gear... But thanks to "Hunterzed" I was able to get a new gearbox to put in for $250... Many many ideas; - Soon to be re-painted and all dents/scratches fixed or replaced (Dingo and I will be doing this!) - New colour is most likely to be a dark electric blue with custom white stripes! Interior (complete overhaul): - Black leather with stitching to match exterior (electric blue) - Blue LED's - Custom gearshift* - Re-designed/custom dash, steering wheel, door panels & any other trimmings - Custom controls for electric windows, and any dash controls - Black carpets, cloth on roof and such - Gonna change the locks to be remotely controlled, just easier that way (and I won't scratch my doors!!!!!!!) *Custom gearshift: Top of gearshift will be wired so that when it's in each gear (1st, 2nd, etc), it'll light up (also for reverse). That part of the gearshift will be able to be lifted up, underneath will be the starter button! Will keep you guys updated if I think of anything I've missed.. Any suggestions would be much appreciated!!!
