Or you could buy the exact same thing from Steve @ EFi Hardware for the same price.
    That's what I did:

Really... really wish you hadn't posted that...lol
I just started looking at the Haltech 750 with ITB in mind, thinking this is going to take my 2 years to work out exactly what I need to do.... Plenty of time to convince myself this is completely unnecessary ........lol.
Good luck with the build, sounds awesome , and that's one nice looking kit

I ran the EFI Hardware / Speed Tech. 45mm throttle body kit with a Kameari/Harada manifold on my old L24.
Great bit of kit, well made & was easy to set up.
I know lots of other people using the EFi Hardware products with no issues or complaints.

I have no experience with the EP throttle bodies. It did a bit of research on throttle bodies when I was thinking of going NA for my car and of everything I could find they looked like the best value.
With a throttle body really just a butterfly and an injector I couldn't could see the value in some of the more expensive ones.

Different configuration I know, but as reference my 3.2 litre M3 engine uses 52mm throttle bodies to make 321hp.

Oh yes Lachlan, correction 3.096L thanks for the pick-up on my Slystexia.
I am actually looking for some thoughts from you guys on ideal induction. let us call it, 3.1L. Most likely use Haltech Elite.

Depends on what you want to get out of them!
No experience with Jenvey, but I know @Zedman240® had the EFI hardware on his L24 powered 240z and I went for a ride in it. Link here. They seem to have plenty of grunt and it was only an L24. He removed all the sound deadening in the car, so it's very noisy in the cabin.
As for OERs I have heard mixed things about them in terms of casting quality. I believe the earlier "SK's" were better, but haven't had first hand experience.
You might want to ask Josel in SFO about his experience moving from 44's to OER 47's. Facebook profile here. He rebuilds carbs for fun Sidedraft specialities.
When I asked him why he was getting rid of his Mikuni 44's, he told me that for the money he got selling the 44's, he could buy a brand new set of OERs with manifolds etc.. and have some change left over. He cited the OERs as being superior because you can make many of the adjustments to accelerator pump etc.. with the carbs still on the car. With Mikuni's you need to remove them to adjust etc..also the take weber jets.
For me I like my Mikuni/Solex carbs because they are period correct, will hold their value (and may increase over time) and my experience with them on my own 240z has been excellent. I love them!

What I more amazed with Andrew, is how you're getting nearly 4ltrs capacity from an L6 with a Diesel crank!

I've seen a few of  whatever that one is on yahoo.  Only thing given I'm needing blue slip was that one translation said it is too loud for streetlegal use......  definitely looks a nice bit of kit though!

Below is some interesting info I pulled of http://www.zhome.com/ according to this info. (there is a few pics in the link)

164,616  240Z's were delivered around the world.

2,358      240Z's in total were delivered to Australia.

Australia had 1.5% of total 240Z population for the world. (depending on how many are dead now this figure would be lower)

4,287      HS30 (RHD) version were shipped in total to G.B. and Aus. This makes up 2.5% in total compared to the world.

Japanese figures are not listed on the site. Anyone know how many Japanese HS30's were produced?

    Hi Guys,

May be a long shot but is anyone running a similar config to me and would be willing to share their ECU Map?

    Basically set up as follows:
EFI L28/3.1L Stroker with ITBs and Wolf 3d V4 ECU, crank trigger & Wasted Spark Ignition.

Its currently got the base map and i'd love to get the tune a little closer to the mark before driving it to be dyno'd.

    Any help is appreciated.

Apart from when he flips the 240z onto its roof, then it magically becomes some other car. Not sure what exactly.. my best guess is a late 70s mitsubishi lancer coupe.

Well passed inspection... Next job is to register and drive the 16 year old to her leavers dinner.

The it will be back in the shed for an underbody and under hood spray. Along with powdercoated suspension components.

Thanks, I neither love this appendage or loathe it, I'm somewhat in the middle. I think it would be more at home on an S30z with flares and that "fat" look. Than on a standard body S30z.

I do like the idea, but think in execution it's a bit sloppy. Too big a lump. A more subtle hood modification to improve cooling would be better. I guess Nissan eventually put the vents in the hood in later S30z's to achieve the same thing, but I don't like the look of the "260z" style vents. I've always felt they look cheap.

I'd probably opt for vented inspection flaps instead. Easier to replace and cheaper to modify than a good bonnet.
