It's not my cup of tea and I would worry about a few things done/not done and question the "70k thrown at it" line, but the biggest warning sign is that it's been for sale for ages (over a year??) and not sold. You've got to wonder why nobody else has decided it's worth paying for.

Might be the roll cage that's holding it all together... Ouch. [Reminds me of the so-popular 'Gone in Sixty Seconds' movie 'Eleanor' Mustang fastbacks, it's reputed that many of the DIY replicas of the movie cars out there are rusty basket cases with the Eleanor fibreglass body kits covering over many of the nasty bits... ]

Jeepers. $70k for an unrestored car full of rust with cut guards, knock off fender mirrors and 40mm carbs. *keeps mouth shut*

I had idea to add a graphic to the inside of the bonnet the Z is sort of begging for it really - I took a while to find a image that I liked the grove of, i came pretty close to using a neon city-scape scene from Japan but in the end went with stylized strong Geshia Girl graphic matched the vibe of the car pretty well could always change it out down the line potentially but it was not exactly easy to fit.

An interesting collection of iconic muscle and performance cars. But I'm only following it because that 260Z's condition is exactly what my red RS30 could also be in, were I to just have deep enough pockets... Beautiful job.

I should also point out, that although I have valued the car above, I have not seen it in person yet. I only helped source a couple of tough to find parts (if you ever needed door trims for a 260z you'll understand - especially in non-black). But from talking to the owners son this car was restored with the intention of keeping it, not selling it. So no expense was spared. I just don't want people to think I'm vouching for something/someone. My interest is in the car itself, not the other items of news going around with this auction. I hope people can understand where I'm coming from

A few old friends were re united this weekend. Engine gear box are back in the car. Half the exhaust has been fitted. Both L and R quarter windows have new rubbers and have been shoe horned into position (that was a job and a half with the new rubbers). Plus a few more small jobs. Progressing a bit slowly as I have been distracted by a new ride in my life. Picked up a new MTB a few weeks ago and it’s so much fun to ride. Jeff
