L26/28 rocker covers

[L28 rat]

Hey lads,

As some are aware im building an L28 powered hot rod (well a rat rod, but some dont get the rat rod thing)

Anyway is there a rocker cover factory that has either just "Nissan" or nothin at all that fits the L28

Ive seen the rocker covers with "Nissan OHC" or "Turbo" on them

Its goin in a bonnet less rod,so the engine is for all to see

Prefer a rocker cover with nothin , then i could play "Guess what motor that is"

If theres such a piece, maybe what model it could be found on

You can get a plain "NISSAN" one otherwise dont think theres really anything out there other then some japanese stuff (but that is big $$) can i suggest just getting a standard valve cover and grinding the top flat??

Plenty of meat , the letters are raised

 

Mite  just grind the "OHC" letters out

Or get a rocker cover made.....

 

Plenty of hemi's running around with handmade rocker covers that polish up quite nicely and look very pretty with the tig welding.
