Just wondering if there is a documentary out there of the complete Z car history? I mean incluing the Roadster, Z31, etc etc.

I've seen a couple which focus on the 240Z then the current model (350z and 370z) - History channel, top gear, motoman.

Surely there should be one including the evolution from the 260z into the 'boxy' eighties - this part always seems to be skipped over!

I'm in for 50 bucks as long as you promise not to mention the German.

Unfortunately I don't think there is a really great documentary out there. The best I've seen is the book Brian Long's book.

It's a shame really, as the Z31 was a bold new design both aesthetically and technically (first v6 in a Z). I really think it's an under rated car of the series, and I'm keen to see some historical footage, interviews and reviews from the era - similar treatment that the 240Z get in most documentaries.

Oh well, I'll live in hope!

yeah i know, it is an old post, but I cant help trawling around here,

anywy, on a recent trip to Nippon, I was given a dvd titled

"Nissan - 70 Years Motorsports History"

It is all in Japanese language, and shows a heap of real old footage, and new stuff as well, of Nissan/Datsun in competitoin.

including the little tiny cars that came out here in 1958 for the Mobilgas trial.

The race footage has the Japanese commentator going absolutely ballistic when cars win the races, a real hoot!

Only thing is it is a one off original dvd, and it goes for a while, and I am still a computer numpty when it comes to uploading/downloading onto the nets, I cant even work out how to do photos, I have done them, but cant bloody well remember how.

Any Ideas/

I live in Westside brisbane, so any computer savvy locals are welcome to come by and "assist" me
